This adapter allows you to plug in your Elf/Pandora's Box, 2, 3, 4, or other Chinese multi-fighter JAMMA boards into a standard JAMMA cabinet without modifying your wiring. The CHAMMA to JAMMA adapter does this by re-routing some of the JAMMA wiring that is not compatible with the Chinese JAMMA (CHAMMA) board so that your installation is plug and play.
The JAMMA standard only allows for 3 buttons per player, but the new boards coming out of China added 3 more buttons per player on the JAMMA connector, one of which is repurposing the grounds at pin 27 on both sides to button 6.
The CHAMMA to JAMMA adapter moves the extra buttons to a proper CPS1 Kick harness plug on the adapter, allowing you to play the board in a standard JAMMA cabinet.

If you have an existing CPS2 Kick harness in your cabinet, purchase the CPS2-Adapter to allow plugging in your existing CPS2 Kick harness.
